How can one place be both sophisticated and casual at the same time? Just inside the original, 1900's-era doors, on the main level, wrapped in Our Chef Executive Chef/Partner, Scott Latham, Began his career in 1990 at La Bonne Soupe of Writer's Square, downtown Denver . There he developed a love for cooking as he became acquainted with the art of French soups and sauces. Scott's drive for expanding his culinary knowledge then took him to Seattle where he interned for a year at a top Northwest restaurant, learning exceptional seafood recipes. Upon returning to Denver , Scott began a cabaret-style catering operation out of the kitchen of a premier jazz and blues club downtown. His business quickly grew, and soon he and his business partner were one of Denver 's exclusive caterers to live music. Working with power promoters such as Doug Kauffman of Nobody in Particular Presents; House of Blues; and Bill Graham presents, Scott spent seven years catering to countless world-famous musical talents. Among them, Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, and Paul Simon to name a few. Scott sold his business to pursue his original love, creating dishes that are not only unique, but also delicious. He was chosen to share his talents at Braun's Bar and Grill in July 2003. Since then, Scott's innovative ideas have been utilized in the creation of new menus, exclusive features, and exquisite private functions. Scott's experience in catering has given him the ability to design specialized menus to fit any occasion .
